It's been an absolutely beautiful week! We've had lots and lots of sunshine, something that I desperately need in my life! (and I know I'm not alone) I've worked outside a bunch and got some pics from around the house. If we're friends on Facebook and Instagram, then you've already seen some of these!
I actually found a 4-leaf clover.....
but not before I'd sprayed weed killer on it. (insert sad face). I still pulled it and took a pic!

My absolutely gorgeous Iris that came from my Mamaw's house. It's only taken 3 years for it to bloom, but it was so worth the wait!
A mockingbird sitting in the bush right outside the window. Did Y'all know that the mockingbird is the state bird for Tennessee?
I loved the bit of blue shining through.....
Freshly hatched baby robins.....
Springtime is probably my favorite time of year when everything starts coming back to life after the long, cold, gray winter. There's a life analogy in that statement somewhere!
HOPE everybody has a great weekend!

A great series of photos Debbi. I'm so glad to hear you are getting lots of sunshine. We are too though tomorrow I think will be cloudy. It's okay because I'm hoping to get some photos on the water.
ReplyDeleteSo thankful for the sunshine...even the "heavenly sunshine flooding my soul with glory divine"... Love the baby robins...so tiny and frail and sweet! That purple iris is magnificent!! Yes, so worth waiting for! The Mockingbird is also Florida's state bird, but I'm not sure why. I guess because it is so prolific here. They just aren't very friendly...very territorial if you get too close!! A real 4-leaf clover! Wow!! I've never found one! It was your lucky day, but not so lucky for the clover! LOL. A patch of blue sky is always a sight to behold! Happy Spring to you!! Enjoy your beautiful days. Thank you for hosting us again! I so look forward to Fridays with you and our friends!!! God bless you dear friend.
ReplyDeleteBig, big smiles. Have a lovely day friend.
ReplyDeleteThe sun is finally shinning all day and it's warm. The flowers are blooming and all is wonderful, now that Spring has come for a visit.
ReplyDeleteThat Iris is just beautiful, Debbie. Enjoy the weekend.
Great pictures today. Several years ago there was a mocking bird that would come to visit me every afternoon. I would be on the porch and he would sit on the highwires and fuss at me. I don't know why he chose the wires when the trees were so plentiful, I guess he wanted to be sure I saw him. Not to worry little bird, I could sure hear him. That iris is gorgeous, so pretty to look at, it's eye candy for sure.
ReplyDeleteA four leaf clover, hope it brings you good luck. : )
ReplyDeleteThat iris sure is gorgeous.
What a beautiful purple flower (Iris). Wonderful one!
ReplyDeleteThose baby robins are so precious and priceless ... and seem so very fragile. I want to preserve and protect them, but that's not the way Life works, is it?
ReplyDeleteLoving that 4-leaf clover!
Oh, those darling little birds!!!
ReplyDeleteI like that Iris.
I love your photos today, especially the sky and the little nest with those precious baby robins. I'm not sure I've ever seen a four leaf clover. Love the flower! Your photos are always good.
ReplyDeleteDitto what Nonnie said!!
ReplyDeleteAren't those robins beautiful? Thank you for your marvellous photos.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Gorgeous sky!
