Oh, how I still love the old hymns.
Seeing this once again takes me back to when I was a little girl growing up in a small country church with ceiling fans and personal fans in the backs of the pews and singing out of the red back hymnal.
HOPE your SONday is full of blessings!
I will always cling to the old hymns, I love them so much. Hope you are having a wonderful Lord's Day.
ReplyDeleteI like the contemporary worship songs that are sung in church now but I miss the old hymns. They have such a powerful message and just bless my heart. Have a lovely day, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI love the old hymns too and just can't get used to having drums and guitars and "rock-like" music in church. I'm just not into the contemporary services.
ReplyDeleteI just love old hymns, hope you have a beautiful day friend. smiles,
ReplyDeleteLove.

ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite old hymns...(there are many)..A hymn that teaches us the best way to live in this life...by trusting and obeying Christ!!! There IS no better way!!
ReplyDeleteI too love the old hymns and most of the time I prefer them to the sometimes loud worship songs in the church. Have a day of blessings dear Debbie.
ReplyDeleteWe sing this one often at church. Most times when some one is preparing to be Baptized.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you.
