Well, all that gorgeous weather we had last week has faded away and we've been living in what seems like monsoon season in East Tennessee. I'm hoping for some sunshine in the next few days!
I'm gonna share some fotos I took a few Sunday's ago when it was about 75 degrees. Pappy and I took an afternoon drive to Douglas Dam. There were lots of people out and about enjoying the absolutely beautiful day!
I'm guessing the water is way up since these fotos were taken. Notice the flag was half-staff because of the shooting at the school in Florida.
This one is probably my favorite.
We are blessed to live so close-by to the Great Smoky Mountains!
HOPE everybody has a great weekend!

Wow! It looked really warm a few Sunday's ago. I hope the rain subsides soon. We will be getting more of the rain too after a very cold snowy snap this past week or so.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Debbie and Happy Day to you!
ReplyDeleteThanking you wholeheartedly both for sharing your always great posts and for hosting,
I'm sending blessings across the many miles

Love your photos...The dam is magnificent! Glad to see that they honored those fallen in that horrible shooting here in Florida. Such a senseless tragedy that none of us can even begin to understand. Praying for those families as they try to pick up the pieces of their lives and move forward. Love your view of the mountains. Someday I hope to get back to the mountains for a visit. It's been too long!!! Have a blessed and beautiful weekend my friend.
ReplyDeleteThere was a season in our life that we would visit the Smoky Mountains every year, but in our olden years we don't like driving in the mountains. Still love it and would love to go again. Love the view of the mountains and the Douglas Dam.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Deb! Thank you for the smiles. Hope you have a beautiful day, friend.
