Do Y'all have a bucket list?
I don't really, but I do like to say that certain things are on my "bucket list".....
just meaning that's something I'd really like to do someday and one of those things is visiting the Holy Land. A rather large group from our church, led by our Pastor and his wife, left for Israel yesterday to be gone until the 26th. I know one shouldn't be jealous, but honestly, I sure am envious. I'm so happy for them and can't wait to hear all about it when they return.
So, just to let them know that they're in my thoughts and prayers I'm sharing a foto of our church!
Happy Friday, Everybody!
HOPE your weekend is chock full of fun!

My nephew and his wife went last year, They loved it!
ReplyDeleteI have a really close friend who went to the Holy Land a few years ago. Her pictures were amazing! But the memories in her heart were even more precious. She met an elderly Jewish gentleman who had lived in America for many many years. His dream had been to one day return to the Holy Land before he passed away. He was in his 80's. I know your church family who went will come home with precious memories and pictures that they will share with you. Thank you for sharing the picture of your church.
ReplyDeleteWas never able to travel to the Holy Land and have only seen photos and videos of it. I never really thought of a bucket list but if I had when I was much younger, the Holy Land would have been on it. Have a day of blessings Debbie.
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful for your church friends. I do hope that maybe someday you will be able to go as well. I'd love to go, but it would take a miracle to do so. We will definitely pray for their safety as they travel, and that the Lord would be with them in their time of "walking where Jesus walked". How wonderful. Praying for you as well!! Have a blessed day dear friend.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow...what a trip that would be!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful header! I've always wanted to go to the Holy Land. We've talked about it, but just never went. Hope you have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI know a pastor that for years he carried a group of his flock to Israel. The Pastor I work for just had the opportunity for him and his wife to go with other pastors and wives to Israel. I would love to go one day too. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteI love that photo. Such beautiful skies over your church. I hope you get to go someday too. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty photo of your church!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
What a nice church! How old is it? My dream is to visit some friends in the USA or to visit my family in Australia. But is it also good with a book in my chair and a bog mug cofee :-)
ReplyDeleteI would be really afraid to go over there during these times. I know people who have gone and they loved it and had such a blessed time.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot of your church. I don't have a bucket list as such but I'm like you. I like to say something is on my bucket list now and then even though I don't technically have one. But I do have a few things I might like to do some day. Travel to Israel would be one of them. I'm sure your friends will have a lot to share with you when they return home.
