I've told y'all the story before about a piece of property that Pappy and I own. It was given to us by my Mom, but before that it belonged to my Mamaw. I had asked Mamaw before Pappy and I got married if I could buy a portion of the front for us to put a home on and she told me no......
and I was heartbroken.
π’
Over the years, she divided her property and my Mom, sister, and brother got certain portions and this piece was given to Mom. Going on 40 years later it's ours!
Ain't God good?
Oh, yes He is!
I doubt Pappy and I will ever live on this piece of property, but I would ♥ to have a small cabin on it to use as a retreat.
Hey, a girl can always dream.
ππ
We had the property mowed and went down earlier this week and did a bit of cleaning around the trees and gathering rocks. I walked to the back and down the edge near the woods and got these fotos.
Well, except for this one.....
took it in our back yard!
Have a great weekend, Y'All!

Oh so pretty.. all those flowers and that sky. Just wonderful. I do hope you get your cabin and your dreams come true.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Friday my friend.
Love.
ReplyDeleteHe is good.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your pictures taken on your lovely piece of property. I do hope you will not give up on your dream...and that you will one day have that cabin on your Mamaw's property. It's wonderful to have such a dream...and to already own the land on which to begin the completion of that dream. Don't give up! Even if you just have to put a "tiny house" on it...go enjoy it while you can. Meanwhile, go there as often as you can and drink in the beauty and share it with us like you did today. It helps us to dream a little too. I loved this post in so many ways. You see, we gave up on a dream just this past week...a little piece of property on a little lake where we could put a "cabin", but there were just too many obstacles in our path, mainly money. But I heard God say, "Trust Me, and Wait on Me..." so I'm not giving up the dream...just waiting for the Lord to work it out in HIS time, in His way. He knows best. I loved your post today. Did I say that already? Thank you. And God bless you, my friend.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers and beautiful colors on your property. I hope you can get your cabin someday. Love those clouds. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Deb. smiles. Have a lovely weekend friend.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the first dream coming true. Maybe the dream for a cabin will also happen! The flowers are beautiful. What about a travel trailer on the property? Would that work?
ReplyDeletePretty flowers and a beautiful sky. Congrats on getting the property.
ReplyDeleteGreat piece of property. Keep dreaming!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful flowers and nice sky with clouds.
How nice, your own Happy Trails. : )
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers/pictures. I like your dream and who knows, it may come true one day! Have a nice weekend my friend.
ReplyDeleteSuch beauty - and a reminder of the incredible goodness of our Heavenly Father!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! Oh, I'm so glad to know you own the property now. Keep on dreaming as you never know what God has in store for you. Thank you so much for popping in to see me and your sweet comment. Hope you'll come back.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I missed linking up because of Joe's tooth debacle, but I did post for Friday Foto Friends. Great photos. You know, an idea is a travel trailer that you can just park there to spend weekends. Primitive, without hookups, but a possibility.
