Y'all, first of all I want to apologize for being so slack to visit. It's summer-time and we've been really busy working outside (is this what retirement is all about ;-) When I sit down, getting on the computer isn't the first thing I think of.....
sometimes it's taking a nap!
LOL
Contentment:
feeling or showing satisfaction with one's possessions, status, or situation; pleased
HOPE everybody has a Wonderful Wednesday!
Thank you for these verses.
ReplyDeleteIt is a busy time of the year, if you are maintaining a yard, garden, etc. Visit when you can, and we will do the same.
ReplyDeleteA calm sea...
ReplyDeleteI like that!
HA...A nap sounds good to me, giggling. Have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteNap... that sounds good!!
ReplyDeleteYour words/verses above are a soothing balm to my soul. I have recently come through a period of a kind of "discontentment", and the Lord has helped me to get back to a stage of contentment again, being satisfied with what God has given me. I pray that He will help me to stay put!! (In more ways than one!) Thank you for sharing these thoughts today, right on cue!
ReplyDeleteLove all the quotes! I'm learning, now only if I could get everyone around me to be content.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I have learned contentment and it makes all the difference. : )
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your question. The only pill I take is a multivitamin for women. My energy comes from walking. 😊
DeleteI have found I become more content with each day...maybe it's a part of growing older. Enjoyed all the quotes!!
ReplyDeleteBeing content is truly a treasure in this busy discontented world we live in! Enjoyed all your quotes with the pictures, and I too, am so very busy this summer, it is hard to keep up with visiting all of my precious blogging friends. Hope your summer continues to be a blessed one!
ReplyDeleteLove summertime! There's just something about the bright sunshine that makes us smile more, puts a hop in our steps, and just makes our hearts feel warmer and so blessed. Thank you for sharing the uplifting quotes. I hope that you continue to enjoy your summer and I look forward to seeing to pics of what you've done with your yard
