Have you taken a vacation yet?
Where's your favorite place to go.....
beach, mountains, state parks, etc.?
Do you like to go swimming?
Are you a "happy camper"?
Do you enjoy yard work, or do you hire it done?
Do you enjoy yard work, or do you hire it done?
Inquiring minds want to know!
;-)
Here are a few pics I snapped this week.
I share pictures of my spider lace every year. I absolutely adore this flower because the seeds originally came from Mammie, my paternal grandmother, so they're priceless to me. If locals would like some seed, let me know and I'll save you some this fall.
The gorgeous sky one day when I was working outside.
Fresh eggs from our kiddos.....
yummy!
Pappy and I shoveled 4 scoops of mulch on Monday of this week and he's paid the price every day since.
😢
This one is for my friend, Ms. Ann. We talked last SONday at church about how we both love shadows and this greeted me as I walked into the kitchen one morning.
So, that's it for me today.
Thanks so much to everybody who is so faithful to join in when you can.
HOPE y'all have a great weekend.....
stay safe!

Wonderful mix of photos Debbie. I liked them all! Have a blessed day and weekend my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove your spider lace plant. We haven't had a vacation yet, hope to soon. We want to go to Savannah. Great photo's this week, Deb.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Spider Lace: it's beautiful! Does it need shade, sun, or partial?
ReplyDeleteI've never seen "spider lace" before...that is gorgeous...and especially so because it came from your sweet "Mammie"! Loved the deer, the clouds, and the shadow of the cross...(you could write a whole post about that!)...and fresh eggs! Wow! What a treat! I am sorry you over did the mulching, but I know it will look so nice and pay off for you in the summer. Just try to take it easy now for a few days! Relax and enjoy a special 4th of July long weekend! God bless you my friend. Oh, questions about summer plans? We don't have any plans yet. Still recuperating from my surgery and not quite ready for too much action or travel, but I am getting stronger and walking more every day, which helps to rebuild my stamina. Hoping perhaps to take a little trip in the fall. I'd LOVE to go to the mountains!
ReplyDeleteThat spider plant is beautiful!! Precious indeed! No vacation for me yet. Our next trip is at the end of August to visit family. Time away, but not really a vacation.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos, my friend, smiles. No vacations, we be poor, lolol. smiles. Have a lovely day, Deb.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of nor have I seen that spider lace....it is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and priceless to you as it came from someone you loved. Your pictures are lovely today. I have 3 bags of mulch on my porch, ready for me to put down around my flowers, but the old back is screaming...no, no, no, not today, so I understand about your hubby. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteYour spider lace is so pretty, I don't think I've ever seen one. WoW, your yard is going to be so pretty with all the work y'all have done, but isn't nice to sit back and enjoy everything at the end of the day?!! We get fresh eggs from Tammy, so yummy. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!! ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteYes, enjoying the summer.
ReplyDeleteNo vacations for us. I feel like I live a vacation here in western MD.
I do all our yard work and quite enjoy it.
The spider lace is gorgeous.
Looks like you did a great job in the yard work. I can only take so much and I am feeling the pain. Poor Pappy! Love your header with the flag and that spider lace is gorgeous. Still thinking about a vacation.
ReplyDeleteI love your picture of the bright blue sky and big white clouds. So beautiful! Your flowers are gorgeous. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! My very favorite place to vacation would be either Charleston, SC or the Outer Banks. But your neck of the woods is in the top 5! Which is where we'll be heading this year.
