Y'all, it's been a busy, busy week. We had Vacation Bible School Sunday-Thursday nights and it seems we had something to do almost every day. One of the highlights was picking up our older grand boys from Junior Ranger Camp and taking them out for ice cream. Then yesterday we got to attend the ceremony where they got their pins and certificates. So very proud of those young fellows!
Here are a few fotos I managed to get in spite of the chaos.
Pappy got me this rose bush for our anniversary last year and it's doing so well.....
Lookie what I found at my Mom's.
It's been many years since I found a 4-leaf clover.
Isn't this the most beautiful Gerbera daisy you've ever seen?
It was in the nursery at Lowe's but I'm thinking it needs to be in our yard!
A basket full of little owlies for my friend's SONday school class.
I love seeing hay bales in a freshly mowed field.
A gentlemen Pappy used to work with grew lilies and gave us this one because it's called "Garnet", my January birthstone. It's a much deeper red than the picture shows.

ReplyDeleteI always like to see a field of rolled hay.
I love that white rose...and the gerbera daisy...and the garnet lily...and the hay bales...and the skies and the owlies...and everything about this post! Thank you for it all...oh I almost forgot, the best of all, the 4-leaf clover! I don't believe I've ever even seen one of those! I thought it was a myth!! You are lucky indeed! I know, not lucky...just blessed!!! Happy Friday! God bless you always my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree - that gerber daisy needs to be in your yard too! I love the blue skies and the hay bales too. Growing up, the bales I saw were always square. The other day, out with my son, I saw lots of round hay bales. Your rose is so pretty and the owlies are adorable! Have a great day.
