I want to apologize for how slack I've been in visiting.
I can't make any promises, but I'll try to do better.

Did y'all have a good weekend?
Our weather here in East Tennessee yesterday was absolutely gorgeous. Sunshine and warm temps and did I mention.....SUNSHINE! Y'all, sunshine truly brings on a brighter mood!
Since several of you commented on the cross with the bird nest in the middle that I shared as one of my Friday Fotos, I thought I'd let you know how easy it is to make. The sticks that make up the cross were trimmed from our crepe myrtle trees several years ago. Because left natural they didn't show up very well on the door, I spray painted them white and they're held together with twine and a piece of wire where they intersect to make the cross and at the bottom.
Some springy flowers and a bird's nest were hot glued to the center.
This is one of my favorite "decorations" I think I've ever made,
just because it HOPEfully helps spread the message of the cross!
HOPE y'all have a Marvelous Monday!

I was wondering about that, smiles...no worries about visiting or not, smiles. Have a lovely day friend.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteIs a nice spring decoration. I like it.
ReplyDeleteThat is SO beautiful, Deb! I love it. I need to get more creative with things like that...I have all the ingredients to make one, but just don't have the craftiness to pull it together. You made it look so easy...and so lovely. Thank you for sharing that with us. I haven't put out any Easter decorations yet. Was too hot and dry, now it is too wet and windy. Always something. So thankful for the rain, however. God knew we needed it, and apparently you all had enough!
ReplyDeleteYou DO live in a beautiful area. Lovely spring photos
