Friday rolls around so fast to me but I bet those who work outside the home and school kiddos (and teachers) would beg to differ!
I didn't get a lot of pics this week and these were taken with my cell phone, so they're not the best quality.
This is a church I pass almost weekly on my way through Rocky Valley. If you've followed me here very long, you know how much I adore that area.
The moon in the sky right smack dab in the middle of the day.....
This one is a little blurry, but it was snapped from the car while sitting at a red light.
(in my defense, Pappy was driving)
Are you having cooler temps where you live?
It was cloudy and kinda chilly all day yesterday.
One of our local meteorologists called it the "autumnal chill".
I'll take it because this summer's heat about done me in. I even dug out sweat pants, socks, lace-up shoes and a long-sleeved tee shirt!
I ♥ this time of year!
Thanks to everybody who is faithful to link-up each week. I'm sorry I don't get around to visiting until sometimes on Saturday. We'll have all four grand-kiddos this afternoon/evening, so is that a good excuse?
All your pictures are nice! To be a grandmother i think is a great blessing!
ReplyDeleteDear Debbie
ReplyDeleteI'm so grateful to you for hosting me today !
Hope you're having a beautiful week
I'm sending blessings of joy on your Friday and on your weekend ahead
Much love
Xx Dany
I love the church cross in the sky. I never thought I could love anyone like I love my 3 daughters, until they gave me children!! Love my grands!
ReplyDeleteI love the saying on the church sign! "Prayer Conditioned"...what a good idea! I also love the steeple in the clouds. The Light breaks through right around the cross on the steeple...how wonderful is THAT? No, we haven't received the "autumnal chill" just yet. Please send it on down!!! Have a blessed day and weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is cooler here, too....in the 80s instead of the 90s. Still humid though. Ugh. I enjoyed seeing your fotos today! Wishing you a good Friday!
ReplyDeletePretty photos, even the one where Pappy is driving! I'm feeling a bit of a cool off too here but still humid. It will come. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteIt was awesome yesterday. That weather felt great after all our heat. I dug out the jeans and a flannel shirt. But just couldn't make myself take off the flip flops. Maybe next month. Love the picture of the steeple. I think the quality of the photo added to the heavenly feel of it.
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderfully cooler here and I. Love. It! It has been around 60 degrees in the morning and warming up to high 70's or low 80's. Perfect! Your pictures of the church cross in the sky is really nice I like it!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos Debbie. I take mine mostly with a cellphone too. Weather here has finally gotten more like early Autumn. Love the sign on the church. Have a day of blessings my friend.
ReplyDeleteOh it's been cool here, we are wearing light jackets now.
ReplyDeleteLike the church sign. : )
Great fotos! I think we all might need prayer conditioning!! Enjoying a little fall weather, I've been on the porch almost all day ~ it feels so good out there! Have a great weekend!! ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteAww love your pictures! Piney is where my Mama and all her people (Hickman) are buried. That sign made me smile. Maybe you'll think about me sometime when you pass by!
ReplyDeleteDeb, thank you for the beautiful, uplifting pictures! I'm sad for everyone who has suffered with this summer heat and humidity. We live in the mountains and it did get up to the 80's this summer. Now, it's only in the 70's and really cool at night. We actually made a major move from one of the hottest, high humidity states to live in the mountains 15 years ago. Our family thought we were nuts, but we've never once regretted it. God bless you and have a wonderful weekend with the grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteThere you are!! I had a mild panic early this morning---every time I clicked on your blog--it said it was deleted--"poof" "gone". Whew so glad its not...I figured Blogger was having issues...
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Deb. Have a beautiful weekend, friend and yes, cooler -crisp temps with rain here in western NY.
