I got out the "good" camera one day this week to get some shots of the hummingbirds. These little creatures just amaze me. I'm pretty sure these pics are actually of two different ones, but at times I've seen three and Pappy said he'd seen four at one time but we've never had but one feeding at a time because they're very territorial and chase each other away.
Why can't we just all get along?
;-)
My sky pic for the week was taken on our way up to see the kiddos yesterday afternoon. I didn't even realize when I took it that the hay bales got in the pic. Do y'all like to see a freshly mowed field with hay bales as much as I do?

Your Friday Foto's always make me smile, thanks Deb. Have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed how anyone gets a photo of a hummingbird. The ones that come to my patio stay only for seconds and they fly away so fast.
ReplyDeleteI see a bumblebee getting a drink with one of the hummers! Nice catch!! I remember the oblong bales lying in the fields back when I lived closer to farm country. Now they are all those big round bales. Happy Friday Deb!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of hummingbirds Debbie. I too love watching birds. I don't get to see many here in the building complex I live in now but walking up the road I get to see many. Have a lovely day ahead my friend. :)

I hate the smell of soggy wet hay! lol
Wonderful pictures of hummingbirds! Ours have all taken off for their journey further south for the winter. They were such fun to watch all summer, and I look forward to seeing them again in the spring.. Yes, I love seeing fresh hay! Love to smell it too! Love your pictures! Thank you for sharing and for allowing us the privilege to share in this Friday Foto Friends! Happy Fall!!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! I have got to get a humming bird feeder next season. You'll have to give me pointers on the best place to hang it. They are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics of the humming birds. We don't have them in my part of the world and I always enjoy seeing them in folks' posts.
