(yes, I know it's Saturday, hence the post title.....
just couldn't wait to share Psalm 37 with y'all cause I'm thinking somebody else needs to hear this, too!)
Psalm 37 is a favorite of mine, and I love verse 4 that tells us to delight in the Lord and He will give us the desires of our heart. I've seen that happen so many times lately in some of the smallest of things that my heart desires. Often I don't think we even realize what our desires are. Oh, we might think we want something, but since our Heavenly Father made us and knows us so much better than we know ourselves, if we'll just let Him take control He'll give give.....or take away.....things that are the best for us.
He's such a good, good Father!
HOPE everybody has an awesomely blessed SONday.....
and Saturday.....;-) !!!

ReplyDeletebit more of that, Debbie. God bless! Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs.
Beautiful pictures Deb! I am ready for a little cooler temps too, I like the 70's and low 80's but I guess we can't choose the weather and I hate to say anything about the heat because I don't like freezing temps either and my little great grandson is an outside person and the heat doesn't seem to bother him at all, he wants to be out from early morning until bedtime, it is hard to get him to even come in to cool down or eat!
ReplyDeleteI was momently lost when you said SONday, giggling...thank you sweet friend...such little words: Trust, Delight, Commit that have big meanings. Have a beautiful day friend, it has been raining here, yes RAIN. WOOHOO--this area is under a severe drought.
