{ Dear Younger Me }

I didn't post a song yesterday since it was Mother's Day.   I'm not trying to make up for that today.....
it's just that I heard this song for the first time as I was getting  ready for church yesterday morning and oh, my.
I can't write music.....
but if I could.....
I believe this would be a song that would have come straight from my heart!

I spent way too many years of my Christian life living a life of "legalism",  instead of enjoying the FREEDOM that Jesus offers when we accept Him into our hearts and lives.

FREEDOM......

PEACE.....
JOY.....

those would be words that I would include in the letter to my younger self.

If I knew then what I know now.
