I'm sure by now most of you have seen the movie, War Room.
If we're friends on Facebook, then you know that there was a free showing at our church last night,
and many pews were filled!
I can't even begin to say how this movie touched me.
As Christians, I know we're all "big" on prayer,
but do we I really pray like we I should?
Do we I take advantage (in the positive sense) of the privilege to talk face to face with our my Lord and Savior?
Do we I stop and give thanks when our my prayers are answered,
even when it's not the way we I asked?
Oh, how I wish I could have seen something like this in my early years as a Christian,
especially in the beginning of our marriage.

Now, I'm trying to figure out where in this very small closeted house I can make myself a "war room"!!!
HOPE everybody has a Marvelous Monday!!!
I have not seen the movie, but hope to soon. It must be awesome because everyone that has seen it, says the same things about it. So glad you did see it, and can find your 'war room'.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post, Deb. I have yet to watch War Room but purchased it the other week. Don't know why I've not watched it yet. Guess I have to be in a certain frame of mind. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your powerful message today. It is truly amazing what prayer can do.
ReplyDeleteThat movie really touched my heart. There are certain places I like to go when I pray, but that was a real prayer closet and she really showed how to use it. A place to become one with God...to cry out with our burdens and to love Him with our praise. A true teaching on the power of prayer and how God works in our lives.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the movie yet, but my girls have and they said it is very powerful!
ReplyDeleteA very powerful movie and one I will watch again and again. We can't be reminded too often of the great power we have within us. Just pray!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the movie yet, but I sure do hope to see it soon.
ReplyDeleteI agree. It carried a very encouraging & convicting message. Oh, that all of us who were inspired will not wimp out and neglect to pray!
