I saw the above in an e-mail yesterday,
and this very familiar verse of scripture came to mind.....
Oh, what TRUTH!
Especially, that hard stuff that we just think we can't endure one minute longer.
And, we often can't.....
not on our own!
not on our own!
HE tells me in HIS Word that HE will give me strength to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.
But, it has to be through HIM!
What about y'all?
Are you so very tired of trying to handle it all by yourself?
You don't have to.
Give it to HIM.....
and don't try to yank it back out of His hands.
(or, is that just something I do?)
Let HIM handle it and give you the strength to carry on.
Wishing each of you a blessed Tuesday!
Breathing in Grace,
Dank je, Deb! I am glad I visit you blog this early morning. Indeed: HE will give me strength to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Ms. Aritha. HOPE all is well with you and your sweet new grand baby!
DeleteConfirmation, Deb! Two days ago, over a situation I have been praying for and over for decades, the Lord spoke: Lay it down. I had no idea I was holding on!! But, I suppose in humanness, when we've prayed for someone or something for a long time, there are stages that God helps us with. And so...I am laying this burden down and trusting Him. So He is handling it and giving me strength!! Thank you for this post.
ReplyDeleteOh, if you visit here much, you know how much I adore confirmations....well, most of the time!!! Maybe not so much when He's reprimanding me! :-) I'm so glad that you were able to glean something from what He prompted me to write today! Thank you so very much for taking the time to comment.
DeleteAmen Deb!!! I am a firm believer that the good Lord gives us things to see how we handle it..no such thing as "I can't do it". Thank you sweet friend for always being an inspiration. Have a Blessed Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteI so agree with you....even that "bad stuff"....it's for our benefit! I just wish I could see that when I'm in the middle of what seems like yet another crisis!!! Living and learning....even at my age!
DeleteGreat post, Deb. I often will give something to the Lord but then take it back. It's a matter of trust. Thank you for reminding me of that.
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not in that boat alone, Ms. Melanie. I must think God needs my help in solving whatever the issue might be....LOL....like I could help at all! ;-) So glad you took the time to comment during your break. Looking forward to you coming back.
DeleteAlways hard, but always true! Thanks for the reminder, Deb!!!
ReplyDeleteMs. Terri, it's really difficult for me sometimes! But, if I'll just let it go and allow Him to do His work...then, it all works out in a way that I probably never even thought about! He's so very smart!!! ;-)
