This week's grand-kiddo date was with this little girly-girl. When I went to pick her up, she was all dressed up in pink and brown.....
"because Nannie likes pink and brown together"!
Her Momma had spent hours braiding her hair over the weekend and had the braids up in a "pony tail" with a pretty flower. When I had asked her earlier what she wanted to do on our date, she said.....
"go to Wal-Mart and get Legos and go to McDonald's and eat".
So.....
guess what we did?
Exactly what the girl wanted!
Isn't she beautiful?
Of course.....
Nannie is prejudiced!
HOPE y'all have an awesome weekend.
Have fun.....
stay safe.....
enjoy life!!!
Breathing in Grace,
Seeing her (and you) smiling, makes me smile. How precious. She is one adorable little girl and very lucky to have a grandmother like you. Have a lovely Friday, Deb. Blessings
ReplyDeleteOh, Ms. Linda, this little girl is a character. She's quite a unique little girl! She has certainly taught me so much about adoption and how God loves us! HOPE you have a great weekend!
DeleteSounds like the perfect date! What a cute smile! She are blessed and she is too.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying my dates with the grand-kiddos, Ms. Melanie. Making memories is so important and we're having fun!!

Awwww, thank you, Ms. Beckey. HOPE you have an awesome weekend, too!
DeleteBeautiful girl and beautiful oma! Sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou're so precious, Ms. Aritha! I wish I had asked to be called "Oma"!!! ;-) I like that term for Grandmother! I started out as Nana, but when our oldest grand was about 2, he changed it to Nannie....so Nannie I am.
DeleteTwo precious smiles...both yours and hers....and what a special story she has! Thank you so much for sharing the pictures of your date with her, Deb.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ms. Dianna. A sweet lady who worked at McDonald's saw me taking a pic of RK and she asked if I wanted her to take one of both of us. I thought that was so very nice of her! HOPE you have a great weekend! Have your grand-girls arrived?
DeletePrecious girl!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, Ms. Dana, thank you so much, sweet Lady. HOPE all is well with you!
DeleteWhat a cutie-patootie! She sure is growing and she has the cutest smile. I love when you share pictures, I always enjoy them. May God bless and keep you sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteOh, she is growing up so fast....all 4 of them are. It kinda makes me sad, but that's life. Just another reason to go on "dates" with them, before they get too old to want to be with Nannie!!! ;-)
DeleteHi, Debbie. I commented on your comment on my blog about love bugs but thought I'd put a link here. This explains what they are a lot better than I can.

Well, it's certainly a good thing they don't bite!!! I commented back on your blog that I'm glad we don't have those here in Tennessee!!! ;-) If you move back, PLEASE don't bring them with you!!!
