Thrifty Thursday.....

I pulled into our driveway recently and looked toward the front porch of the house.  
The thought crossed my mind that I would ♥ to have new pillows to go in the chairs.  
My next thought was that they cost way too much!

A few days later I was here.....

And, I found this curtain.....

and would you believe it was even the colors I had in mind?

So, I washed up the curtain and the pillows that were already in the chairs and found another one I had in my 'stash'.....

And, I made pillow covers.....

The numbers on the smaller pillow are on printable burlap that I found at Wal-Mart.  I just created a Word Document with the numbers and ran it thru the printer and sewed it onto the fabric before sewing the pillow together.

I'm so happy with my new to me pillows!

By allowing me to find  that curtain, 

God gave me a "desire of my heart".

Not with brand new pillows and it required some work by me.....

but, isn't that what He expects from us in most things.....

to do our part?!?
