Honestly?.....

I'm sure y'all know that almost EVERY.SINGLE.DAY is a National Day of Something to celebrate.  
Out of curiosity, I thought I would look up and see what today is.....
and sure enough.....
 it's National Honesty Day.
(now would I lie?.....;-)

When I think about  being honest, 
my Momma comes to mind.
One of the things she taught us growing up and it has totally stuck with me.....
is this.....
in her words.....
"I don't care what you've done, 
even if you've killed somebody,
don't lie to me about it.
Tell me  the truth."

I think that became so ingrained in my psyche that I'm the very same way.
PLEASE.TELL.ME.THE.TRUTH.
Don't sugar coat....
don't beat around the bush.....
don't try to justify.....
just come out with it and be honest.















I HOPE y'all have an AWESOME day!

    Hi Deb! I had no idea it was National Honesty Day. Imagine having a day for that? I love your images and sayings here though. Honestly!!
    I think honesty is something we all treasure in others. If I found out a friend was dishonest, we would not be friends anymore. "Honesty is the best policy..." That is TRUE!

      I've had people be dishonest with me....and when I backed off I was the bad person. So true that honesty is the best policy!

      Ms. Mary, would you believe I just heard on the news that the road to Clingman's Dome in the Smoky Mountains has been closed because of....ice and snow!!! YES...tomorrow is May 1st, and we're having snow in East TN....again! We're supposed to have a beautiful Saturday, though! I would LOVE to come sit on the porch with you...we could find so much to talk about, I'm sure. Thanks for the compliment on the header....that's in honor/memory of all the Momma's! HOPE you have a great Friday, sweet Lady.
