The fleece is dry.....

I have a board on Pinterest named  "Words of Inspiration".

Sometimes scripture and quotes are pinned because they just touch my heart right when I need to read them, depending on what's going on in my life at the time.

That's the case with the above.

I've prayed for several weeks about a certain situation.

(it has to do with this post)

asking God to give me sign after sign.....

you know what I mean?

Like Gideon, I've thrown that fleece out until it's about to get a bit ragged around the edges! 

(Judges 6:36-40)

 So, when I saw this, I knew it was yet another confirmation to what God's been trying to tell me for quite some time.

And, I know that it was for His purposes.....

in HIS plan for my life.
But.....
I also know that for whatever reason, 
God wanted me out of the other person's life, too.
Maybe I was somewhat of an enabler and He needed to be able to teach a lesson without my involvement.  I'll probably never know.

I do know this.....

Jeremiah 29:11-13

“For I know the plans I have for you,” 

declares the Lord,

 “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, 

plans to give you hope and a future.  

 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, 

and I will listen to you.  

 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

He is oh, so patient with His  children me!
