It began yesterday morning as sleet,
then turned into freezing rain.
In no time, we were covered in a blanket of ice.
In no time, we were covered in a blanket of ice.
I'm so glad we filled up our bird feeder Sunday afternoon,
'cause the little fellows seemed to be starving.
Job 37:10
God’s breath sends the ice,
freezing wide expanses of water.
freezing wide expanses of water.
Breathing in Grace,
Beautiful pictures Deb. We don't see that can ice down here very often. Bundle up and stay warm AND I'm so glad you fed the birds. A little food in there tummy might help to keep them warm. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteThe ice was beautiful....but it caused a widespread power outage, which included us! We're now covered in a blanket of ice and snow. It's absolutely beautiful....but I'm very much ready for spring!
DeleteSame thing here on my side of the mountains, Ms Deb! I'm grateful we didn't lose power. The ice is amazingly beautiful when you can look at it from the comfort of a warm house. Thanks for sharing your pretty pictures!

You've probably got more than us, Ms. Beckey, being in the mountains. East TN doesn't really know to act when this type of weather shows up! ;-)
DeleteBeautiful pictures but I am glad I am not seeing it in person.
ReplyDeleteI'm more than ready for warm weather, Ms. Karen....more than ready!
DeleteSuch a beautiful photo
