A do over.....

Last night, I was going through my "draft" posts and deleting some of them.

After I clicked on the little trash can to delete those posts,

I thought I was taken back to the same page of draft posts,

but instead I was on the page with my already published posts.

Before I realized that,

I deleted yesterday's post....

and the one I had scheduled for today!

Sigh.....

what's a girl to do?

I was a bit frustrated,

but then realized that EVERYTHING happens for a reason.

Maybe God didn't want me to talk about appreciation today.

By deleting those current posts, 

maybe He had a story to tell me!

So, I just sat down to read my devotions and was led to the book of Job.

Poor pitiful Job.

Isn't that how y'all look at him, too?

And, what about Job's "friends"?

We'll use the word friend loosely here.

And, even Job's wife.

In her defense, she had just suffered the same losses as Job....

but still, to tell her husband to just curse God and die?!?!

Really?

I don't recollect reading that she did that,

so why did she try to persuade her husband?!?

Then, it hit me.....

Job got a do over!

He couldn't get back the things that God had allowed Satan to  take from him.

But God blessed him in the last part of his life much more greatly than the first half!

I cannot get back those blog posts that I deleted.....

but I can carry on from this point on trying to share the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ!!!

Ain't God good?

Oh, yes He is!
