My knee is doing a bit better,
all thanks to our lovely daughter!!!
She won a gift basket from a health food store and there was a bottle of healthy stuff for joints.....
so she was kind enough to think of her Momma.
It's helped a lot,
although it's still quite painful at times.
Add to my "joint juice" the fact that Pappy's doctor told him to get out and walk due to a health issue with his back.....
and that makes for a great team to walk around the neighborhood!!!
Here are a few pics I took along the route.....
Turning right out of our driveway.....
Beautiful flowers in the yard at the house at the end of our road.....
Looking down another road.....
Another "green thumb" neighbor.....
There's just something about bales of hay and corn stalks that scream "fall".....
Hello cows.....
Moss growing in the cracks in the pavement.....
Beautiful yellow wildflowers along the road.....
Dead tree limbs in a ditch that formed a cross.....
HOPE y'all enjoyed your little walk around our neighborhood!
Ephesians 5:15
Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk—
not as unwise people but as wise—
Breathing in grace,
I love your neighborhood! I especially liked how the dead limbs fell in the ditch in the form of a cross....and that you saw it and shared! Lovely pictures, Deb. I'll be praying about your knee and your husbands back.
ReplyDeleteOh, I DID enjoy the "walk"....such beautiful scenes - and OH! The cross!
ReplyDeleteIn less than a week, I shall have a new knee. God-willing, I will be walking much better next spring!
Keep walking in The Great Outdoors and with Jesus!
You live in such a beautiful place. I agree that hay bales and corn stalks bring on the autumn feeling!
ReplyDeleteYour area is so beautiful. Would love to go for a walk with you and enjoy all the pretty scenery. That cross is awesome, God was letting you know He was walking with you! ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy the walk with you and your Pappy. You live in such a lovely neighborhood. The scenery was so peaceful and picturesque. Oh and I love your new header... :).
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your stroll around the neighborhood! I really need to get out on walk and so does my husband - but so far all the exercise we have gotten is talking about it! Since it is cooling down a little maybe we can start walking around the Kodak park since I cannot handle to heat and I love fall and all the gorgeous colors.
