I've been so blessed to "meet" some awesome women just because God prompted me to blog.
Although, I'll probably never get to meet them face-to-face,
(with the exception of Ms. Cindy, so far)
I still feel such a kindred spirit with them,
and know that's simply because we're sisters in Christ!
Some day soon,
I HOPE to write a blog post about each of my sweet blogging friends just to let them know how much they mean to me and so you can get to meet them, too, if you haven't already!!!
But today's post is all about Ms. Aim who blogs at Pyrex Passion.
Ms. Aim is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to vintage glassware,
especially Pyrex.
(hence the name of her blog)
And, oh how she can cook!!!
I do believe that she and Ms. Cindy and Ms. Diana need to collaborate on a cookbook.....
or their own cooking show!!!
And, of course, they would have to include Ms. Lorraine.
I'm not sure how Ms. Aim found my blog,
but she's been commenting for a couple of months.
A few weeks ago she asked me to send her some pictures of some little whimsical owlies that I liked, 'cause she had something in mind she wanted to do for me!
So.....
this past Saturday I was mowing the yard and the mailman pulled into our driveway and left a package.....
and here's what was inside.....
It's a sweet little box with all the owlies I sent to her.
She hand painted each of these.
And, inside the box was this.....
Isn't he adorable?
You wouldn't believe how heavy this little fellow is!!!
And, deep down in the bottom of all the tissue were these.....
I'm a firm believer that God sends these sweet people into our lives.
What blessings they are to me.....
and I HOPE I can be a blessing right back to them!!
Thank you, Ms. Aim, for my precious treasures!!
I'll cherish them always!
You truly live up to the "motto" at the top of your blog....
"Being nice, caring and sharing are wonderful choices I have made in my life"
Breathing in Grace,
Deb
P.S....visit Ms. Aim and leave her a nice comment if you get a chance!!!
