This is the "beautiful" picture I paid $1.00 for at the thrift store on Memorial Day!
I only wanted the frame,
so I took the picture and glass out and gave the wood a light sanding.
Then, I dug through our spray paint and decided on red.
My stash of ribbon came in handy to make flowers with button centers. Scrapbook paper and letters were used to make a little banner that says....
"Welcome".....
and the banner was put on a piece of twine.....
also something I had on hand!!!

So, can I say this little creation just cost $1.00?!?!

"Look! I stand at the door and knock.
If you hear my voice and open the door,
I will come in,
and we will share a meal together as friends."
