I don't usually share a great lot about my personal life.....
but what an awesome weekend we had!!!
Friday night, we sat in the cold.....
yes, it was was a bit on the chilly and windy side.....
to watch our two oldest grand-boys play soccer.
One of them scored 3 goals!!!
He was so happy!!!
He said he wished it was on TV so he could watch himself!!!
Love our grand's!!!
Pappy and I went back to see "The Wizard of Oz" on Saturday.
He wanted to see it, too, and since it's kinda difficult to concentrate with four kiddos in tow, I really wanted to watch it again myself!!!
It was just as good as the first time!!!
Yesterday morning, we went to SONday School at our church, then attended another local church for their worship service because the Special Friends from our church were doing their skit. Pappy plays the part of Jesus. I cry every single time I watch it during the last scene where Jesus takes away all the ailments and pain and suffering each of the special friends are going thru!!
(And Pappy won't like me sharing this part.....
but he knew of an elderly lady who wanted an exercise bike 'cause she thought it would help with some of her physical problems. She's a lady he sometimes picks up and takes to the doctor as part of his job. We went to her house and he sat my old bike on her covered porch while she was at her church before we headed to the church where the skit was performed.....
my husband is just so awesome!!!)
Yesterday afternoon we went to a shower for our niece who will be getting married at the end of this month. It was such a good afternoon spent with family!!! And, the food was.....
well, let's just say I ate way too much
(as usual)!!!
Then, last night we went to a special singing/musical service at our church.
We had a great weekend!!!
Ain't God good?
Oh, yes He is!!!
