After my Mamaw passed away and the grand's were given the opportunity to get a few of her things......
one of the things I wanted was a door key.
It probably meant absolutely nothing to the others, and if you look at it, you'll see nothing more than a skeleton key....
but to me it's a sweet memory.
You see, Mamaw left the skeleton key on the inside of the back door all the time!!!
I was so afraid I might misplace it so here's what I did to make sure I knew exactly where it's at.
I took a picture frame I had on hand.
Cut a piece of cardboard the size of the inside of the frame and wrapped it in burlap.
Sprayed a bit of spray adhesive on the key so it would stick to the burlap....
and, voila!!!
I have a sweet reminder of many Friday nights spent at my Mamaw's house!!!
Proverbs 31:28
Her children arise up, and call her blessed!!!
(and so do her grandchildren)
