The boys ran on ahead, disappearing around the corner of the house out of sight.
Ruby Kate was trying her best to catch up with them,
running as fast as her little brown legs would carry her!
Nannie, of course was bringing up the rear....
her legs wouldn't go nearly as fast,
considering their age and her bum knee.
I hollered at RK to wait on Nannie.
She stopped dead in her tracks.....
turned around and smiled at me.....
and didn't take another step until I caught up with her.
She reached up and took my hand in hers and we walked that way until we caught up with the boys.
What a sweet example of our precious Jesus!!!
Often the worries and cares and troubles of this life cause me to lag behind.
I loose my focus and take my eyes off of HIM.
But.....He's always right there waiting on me....
with His outstretched hand....
and a smile on His face.
Isaiah 30:18
So the Lord must wait for you to come to him
So the Lord must wait for you to come to him
so he can show you his love and compassion.
For the Lord is a faithful God.
Blessed are those who wait for his help.
For the Lord is a faithful God.
Blessed are those who wait for his help.
In HIS Most Precious L♥ve....and with mine, too!!!
