Then, if My people.....

.....who are called by My name

will humble themselves 

and pray

and seek My face 

and turn from their wicked ways, 

I will hear from heaven 

and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

"My people".....

.....that's all of those who have accepted Jesus into their hearts.

It's us....CHRISTians!!!

"humble themselves".....

Humble - Having, or showing a modest, or low estimate of one's own importance.

"and pray".....

Prayer - a "sincere desire of the heart".....

.....to beg, supplicate, implore, entreat, beseech, petition

"and seek My face".....

Seek - to search, look for, request from

"and turn from their wicked ways"

Wicked - evil, or morally wrong.

Intended to, or capable of harming someone, or something.

Evil, bad, vicious, nasty, naughty

God tells us in His Word that if we.....

 HIS people.....

 will do these things.....

HE will hear from heaven and will forgive us of our sins

 and will restore our land.

Oh, how desperately are we in need of restoration.....

as individuals and as a nation!!!

I know we've already prayed for all those involved in the horrible tragedy that happened in Boston yesterday!!!  

I just cannot even imagine the sadness this has caused our precious Lord and Savior.
