I found a package of fabric squares at Big Lots and knew immediately that the colors would look great in Ruby Kate's room. I bought two packs and flannel for the backing at Wal-Mart. It wasn't quite as big as I wanted, so I bought some additional fabric that matched at Wal-Mart and added it around the edges.
Our boys love for me to crochet things for them and they often put in their orders for certain things.
Sawyer decided he wanted a puppy hat.....
And, Sam wanted a sock monkey hat.....
Having three grand kids to make things for certainly keeps this Nannie busy!!!

ReplyDeleteWow! You HAVE been busy :) I can Feel the Love, Deb.
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is gorgeous and I love the hats. I'm wish I was as good at crafting as you are. But with 5 grandkids, maybe it is a good thing I'm not. :) Have a blessed day.

Nothing motivates the creative juices like those grandbabies! I recently finished up a Monsters, Inc hat, an Elmo hat, and a special tshirt for my little grandguy's first birthday! :0) http://my-day-job.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteEach one is so cute, the colors in that quilt are beautiful. Great job Nannie!! {{hugs}}
ReplyDeleteVery cute and adorable. My dad said everything seems to come in three's in his family- first three beautiful daughters, three Christian son-in-laws, three grandsons. He said all I can say I have been blessed with God's perfect number all through my life God's number of perfection.
