Truth!!!

At the beginning of 2012, many of us chose a "word" that we felt God placed on our heart that would be our go to word to apply to our life.   My word was "truth".  I discovered a lot of things this past year regarding the truth....about others....about myself....but most importantly about HIM.
He is TRUTH!!!

Psalm 25:4-5
Show me the right path, O Lord;
point out the road for me to follow.
Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you.

As I scanned back thru a journal I kept last year about "truth", these words by Dr. David Jeremiah stood out to me because God certainly took care of us during Pappy's unemployment....in ways I would have never imagined!!!

"Confrontation brings change.
We get changed by being confronted with the truth of what God says.
If you do what He says, He will take care of you.
How many of you this year have seen God take care of you?
I'm not just talking about in usual ways.
God takes care of His own.
He provides for you.
He protects you.
He cares for you.
If you trust Him for eternity, why not trust Him for next week?"

I've thought and prayed for a word for 2013 and don't feel that it's been revealed to me yet!!!
What about you, Sweet Reader?
Has God put a word on your heart that you can claim for the New Year that you would like to share?

My hope and prayer is that 2013 is our best year yet!!!

In HIS Most Precious Lve....and with mine, too!!!

Blessings,
Deb

  3. Still waiting on my word for 2013. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. That was funny about a dog bringing the Pyrex. :) Guess it just shows we can find that stuff anywhere. The antique store had a wheat bowl that I'm wanting and I think I might go back and get it next week. Happy and blessed New Year's wishes for you.
