I love this verse of scripture because it reminds me of my Momma.
When I was growing up, she would tell me....
"if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right".
Do we ever actually "get over our raising", as the old saying goes?!?!?
I don't think so.
We went to a 50th wedding anniversary celebration for some precious friends of ours this past Saturday and I loved what their son said when he gave his speech. He spoke about how blessed he was to have been raised by Godly parents. Often, we don't realize what a true blessing that is until we get older, do we?!?
