Six years ago today, Pappy and I became GRANDparents.
For those of you with GRANDchildren, you realize what a blessing that is.
Time seems to just fly and here we are six years later.
So much has happened during that time.
Sam became a big brother to Sawyer....and will be getting one, if not two additional siblings HOPEfully soon and very soon. He has grown up so much, especially since going thru Pre-K, and now he's already in Kindergarten. But, the greatest thing this precious little boy has done....is he gave his heart to Jesus. Very few times in my over 35 year marriage to Pappy have I seen him cry....but he shed tears of joy when he was told what Sam had done (so did Nannie). I've heard Pappy pray many times for the boys to give their hearts to Jesus!!!
Sam was given his name by his Momma (our daughter) and his Daddy because of this scripture.....
I Samuel 1:27
For this child I prayed;
and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.
Happy, happy birthday Sam.
You will never know how much Pappy and Nannie love you!!!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Sam! What a handsome feller there! Grands are truly a blessing from our Lord! How precious that He knows our Lord. I began praying for grands (before they were conceived) that my grandchildren would come to know Jesus as their personal Savior at an early age. I have had the blessing of seeing our oldest granddaughter Raygen come to know Jesus already. God is good! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
