A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E!!!

As I was studying one morning this week, 

I read this verse of scripture.....

Philippians 2:5 (NLT)

You must have the same attitude 

that Christ Jesus had!!

Since I love acrostics, I thought I would come up with a word for each of the letters in the word ATTITUDE....and find a verse of scripture to go along with it.  We should all strive to live up to each of these characteristics in order to have an attitude like Jesus!!!

A - Awareness

Habakkuk 2:14

For as the waters fill the sea, 

the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord.

T - Tenderhearted

Ephesians 4:32

Instead, be kind to each other, 
tenderhearted, forgiving one another, 
just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

T - Thankful

I Thessalonians 5:18

Be thankful in all circumstances, 

for this is God's will for you who belongs to Christ Jesus.

I - Inclusive

Job 32:21

I won't play favorites,

or try to flatter anyone.

T - Trustworthy

Proverbs 11:13

A gossip goes around telling secrets, 

but those who are trustworthy can keep a confidence.

U - Understanding

Proverbs 16:21

The wise are known for their understanding, 

and pleasant words are persuasive.

D - Devoted

I  Timothy 2:10

For women who claim to be devoted to God 
should make themselves attractive 
by the good things they do.

E - Endurance

Hebrews 12:1

And let us run with endurance 

the race God has set before us.
