Titus was "a partner and fellow worker" of the apostle Paul. Paul first mentions him in Galatians 2:1-3. He accompanied Paul and Barnabas to Jerusalem as a living proof that Gentiles did not have to be circumcised in order to be saved.
Paul's instructions to Titus regarding....
Older Men
Exercise self-control and be worthy of respect and live wisely. Have sound faith and be filled with love and patience.
Older Women
Live in a way that honors God. Don't slander others, but teach others what is good. Train the younger women to love their husbands and their children. Live wisely and be pure...work in their homes....be submissive to your husband....so as not to bring shame on the word of God.
God does not save us because of the righteous things we have done, but because of His mercy. He washes away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life thru the Holy Spirit.
In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
