I'm not really sure what's gotten into me these past few days....unless it's actually what's not gotten into me, since I haven't had a bite....not even a smidgen....of sugar in a week!!! You'll never know how much better you feel when you get that stuff out of your system. Even my thinking is clearer, if that makes sense!!! I'm definitely a sweetaholic....which I got from my precious Daddy. I totally agree with the studies that claim sugar is just as addictive as drugs or alcohol....because sometimes it just takes one little bite....and that one taste turns into a sugar overload....at least that's the way it is for me!!!
Okay....enough about that!!!
Today I'm gonna share a bit of this....and a little of that!!
I've added this little "sign" to my "Weight Loss Journey" page. I'm planning on giving y'all an update the first of November.

This is Pappy being a photographer assistant to our daughter, Jess, a few weeks ago as she took pics of our 4 year old GRAND-son!! I don't think he needs to quit his day job, do you?!?!?
;)
Need some new pillows, but just can't afford to pay the price of what they cost?!? (have you seen the ones at Pier One....gorgeous!!!) Well, there's a less expensive....okay cheaper....route to take, and it's super easy. All you have to do is find a place mat that you like, and since most of them are double layered, take out part of the seam....stuff it up with Poly fill....sew the seam back together....and VOILA....a pillow!!! This one was intended for our den....but instead I gave it to Jess....more her color scheme and style!!!
I sat down Saturday afternoon and crocheted this little "punkin" hat. I had all the yarn on hand (you should see the amount of yarn I have....way too much!!!). I love the variegated green yarn that I had for the stem and vine!!!

I spent one morning this week with this adorable little guy....took him to get breakfast and he wanted to eat in the parking lot of the "four wheeler place". When I got him to Mother's Day Out....he did fine until he realized I was leaving....then, he started crying. Nannie stood outside the door until he quit crying, listening to him say "Nannie, get me".
I left part of my heart there that morning.

I'll spend some time this afternoon with this handsome 4 year old!! Loved it yesterday when I heard that he wanted to see his Nannie!!!
Ahhhh....the blessing of GRAND-sons!!!
This picture....I'm sharing just because I think it's too cute!!!
And....it's a reminder of why I'm on this weight loss journey!!
;)
HOPE y'all have a great Thursday!!!
In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
Your grandson is a doll!

What a great idea about the pillow placemats! I'm going to have to try that!
