The birthstone is the topaz....
The most important holiday in the month of November is Thanksgiving....and it seems to get totally shoved to the wayside. This special day gets sandwiched in between Halloween and Christmas....and it's so sad that Halloween gets more exposure than Thanksgiving.
Oh, I know we can....and should....be thankful every single day....but I think the day needs to be celebrated....at least more than Halloween....
....so sad!!!

Visiting via over 40 blog hop. Had to come, Jeremiah 29:11 is "my" verse, it has kept me going so many times. Even named my last son Jeremiah because of it. LOVE your blog. I love that you have some good older hymns, reminds me of my dad and me singing years ago. Also, was inspired by your weight loss journey. It is a constant struggle, isn't it. I did great beginning of year, and now have gained it all back and then some. Really need to brush myself off and go at it again.
