It's a secret!

Have you ever been privy to a secret?  Was it hard to keep?  Was it something just so wonderful and amazing that you wanted to shout it to the world?  The thing that comes to mind when I think of a "secret"....was when I knew for close to 2 months that we were going to be GRAND-parents and Jess wouldn't let me share the news.  Of course, she wanted to wait until she was thru her first trimester to make the announcement.  She told me that I could share it after my birthday....then, tried to tell me once the day arrived, that I would have to wait...well, I COULDN'T wait...I had to let everybody I came into contact with know about it!!!

I recently discovered something about a certain kind of secret....God's secrets!!!  So many times things happen in our lives and we have no idea why we're faced with the trouble....or the sickness....or whatever the "crisis" might be.....but....if you're like me....you want to know the "why" of it all!!!  Often, God chooses to let it remain a secret.....and we're to just have the faith to realize that He makes no mistakes and knows what He's doing.

But....I love it when He allows us in on His secret....and shows us what certain things we go thru are leading up to!!  That happened to our family recently.  What a privilege it is when God gives us that personal glimpse of "the big picture"....

The Lord our God has secrets known to no one.  We are not accountable to them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions.
