It's Friday....hip-hip-horray!!!
YIPPEE!!
First of all....I want to thank everybody for your comments on my "pin"...or "brooch" holder that I showed yesterday!!! Most of you were in total agreement with how I feel about Ms. Oprah....and it's not just her distaste of brooches that keeps me from watching her show, either!!!
I have a problem with how she feels about our precious Lord and Savior....and that we can "save" ourselves. I don't think she reads from the same Bible that I do!!!
Any-who....let's change the subject!!!
Did I already mention how glad I am that
IT'S FRIDAY?!?!?
And....since it's Friday....and I like to share a new recipe that I've came across with y'all....here's the one I found this week....but, it's not just for any old food....it's for 2 of my faves!!!
Do you like cookie dough?
Do you like brownies?
YES and YES, if you're anything like me!!!
You'll never believe what I found....a recipe for COOKIE DOUGH BROWNIES.....oh, yes I did!!!
My tummy growled just looking at the pic (can you see why August hasn't been a good weight loss month for me?!?!?
;)

And...this pic is for my friend, Ms. Dawn. She's asked me to post a pic of my flags when I change them out for the seasons, but I don't always remember!!

LOL I had to laugh about your Oprah comment :-)
ReplyDeleteThose cookie dough brownies look good!!!
Your flag made me smile. Everyday when I sit on the front porch I look at my flag. It is so worn out. I bought a new one (watermelon) but decided I would save it for next summer. Seeing yours made me think I should probably go ahead and hang it up! LOL
Have a wonderful weekend. I am going to clean the church sanctuary this morning.
BTW Love the new header you have today!

stopping over from NFF, and that brownie look dee-lish!
ReplyDeleteOh, brownies. I love them. BUT they don't like me. I've reached a point in my life where I have to take all kinds of precautions before I eat chocolate.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Weezer

Oh my! Brownies to die for! Yum!!!! And I love your flag - so cheerful and optimistic at the beginning of another school year - full of promises and possibilities. Even though I haven't been in school for a while, I still love that "back-to-school" feeling in the Fall. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog you have here :). I'm following you from Boost My Blog. Those brownies look to-die-for!!! Oh my word. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my those brownies look amazing! I'm going to have to print that out!
ReplyDeleteBrownies? Of course, I'm going to follow you! :)
