As I've already mentioned, our Ladies Bible Study group at church is doing the study "Me, Myself and Lies" by Jennifer Rothschild.  The study is called "a thought-closet makeover".  It teaches how....as women....a lot of us have lied to ourselves for years....and convinced ourselves....of things that are totally not true.  What I'm getting from the study....is that my thinking shouldn't be so much on me anyway....my thoughts should be more Christ-focused....instead of "me" focused!!!

I wanted to share a bit of one of the lessons this week about wisdom.  As you already know, I LOVE acrostics.  I did a bit of research and found the one at the beginning of this post that spells WISDOM....and I've included a link to the lady who wrote it.  As I was doing my study....and thinking on wisdom....I high-lighted a statement the author made:

Wisdom is more reliable than feelings.
It will set off little alarms to alert you to the impending enemy invader.

Now...we all know that the "enemy invader " is....the old devil!
And...the "little alarms"....is the Holy Spirit and the discernment that He gives us.

As I was studying....here's a thought that occurred to me.....my definition of wisdom:

Allowing the Holy Spirit to think for us....instead of letting our emotions control our thoughts!

1 Corinthians 2:7-12 (NLT)
No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord. That is what the scriptures mean when they say,
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.

Blessings to you!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
